At Harvard University, one enduring cultural asset is the American Repertory Theater, which has been a leading force in American theater since its founding in 1980 by Robert Brustein. The Theater, currently housed in the Loeb Drama Center at Harvard, is planning for a new a home in Allston. 

The new state-of-the-art research and performance center will aim to create an inspiring environment for making and experiencing theater. The new Center is planning for a main stage theater with seating for 700 people, a studio theater design for 300 people, and graduate student housing.

A healthier future

With its commitment to exploring the issues of today and addressing climate change, Harvard  is focused on energy efficiency and sustainability goals for the new building. The TERVA Engineering Team is honored to be a part of this project and will perform commissioning services for the new building with progressive goals of achieving LEED v4 Gold and Living Building Certification (LBC).
